Engagement sessions are some of my absolute favorites to shoot. Watching two people truly in love reminds me why I do this work. Often, I’ll guide them with simple prompts—like, “I want you to almost kiss each other”—and the rest happens naturally. They can’t help but feel each other’s breath, their lips nearly touching. The love and light that fill those moments are incredible. The smiles are real, the emotions genuine, and the love pure.

Utah is home to some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes anywhere—from the vast Great Salt Lake to the vibrant streets of Downtown Salt Lake City, and the breathtaking canyons scattered throughout the state. Just twenty minutes in any direction reveals something unique and beautiful. I’m happy to share a gallery of my personal favorite locations—just ask!

Because it’s something worth celebrating…

-Quick tips-

Bring one formal outfit, and one casual outfit to your engagement session. We’ll get the playful side of you two in your casual outfit, and then we can do more traditional photos in your formal outfit! That way we can get more verity to make your session just that much better. For your engagement session, bring one formal outfit and one casual outfit. We’ll capture your playful, relaxed side in the casual look, then switch to the formal attire for classic, timeless portraits. This way, we get a great mix of styles and moments to make your session truly memorable.

When selecting locations for your photos, consider choosing two distinct settings to create visual variety. Additionally, think about how the images will complement your wedding venue and your home décor, ensuring they remain timeless and beautifully displayed for years to come.

She Is Love

She whispers of love in her white light…

Bridal portraits should be among the most stunning images of your entire wedding collection. My goal is to make you feel more radiant and beautiful than ever before. That’s why I collaborate with some of the finest professional hair and makeup artists, available to enhance your natural glow. When the light falls just right, every detail will shine as a true reflection of your elegance and beauty.

Should my fiancé be invited?

Ultimately, the choice is yours. Some brides prefer to honor tradition by keeping the dress a surprise until the wedding day. Others love the idea of sharing special moments and photos with their fiancé beforehand, to cherish on the big day. If you choose to include your fiancé in the session, we’ll capture beautiful portraits of you, your groom, and, of course, the two of you together.

Hair and makeup

I work closely with a team of trusted hair and makeup professionals who know exactly how to make you look and feel your absolute best. Whether it’s just for you, or for your bridesmaids, mothers, or anyone else in your party—these artists know how to enhance your natural beauty in a way that looks flawless on camera and in person. I’m confident you’ll love the results, and I’m happy to connect you with someone who fits your style perfectly.

Tips on what to bring

There are a few essentials you may want to have with you during your bridal session—comfortable shoes for walking between locations, a bouquet, veil, hairspray, touch-up makeup, and someone to help carry it all (I can help provide someone if needed). Arriving early to put on your dress and do final touch-ups ensures we can start shooting right on time and make the most of your session. One last tip: when purchasing your wedding dress, consider bargaining in a post-session dry cleaning—it’s a small detail that can make a big difference.

Two Become One

Wedding Day

The day that will change everything ...Forever.

There comes a time when you meet someone and you will want to make them smile for the rest of their life.  This is that day when you won't be able to stop smiling; you won't be able to take your eyes off them; and you won't be able to leave their side.  This is the most important day of your life.  Together we'll capture every moment, and you'll be able to hold onto that light forever.

Everything you want your wedding day to look like

Here I've set up a gallery of images so you know what to expect from a wedding day.  I strive to capture everything from the small details to the big events so you can remember just how perfect your first day as husband and wife was.  Throughout the day I will work closely with you to make sure I capture every perfect detail.  I want you to fall in love with the pictures that will forever remind you just how much you love each other.

Before the wedding day

To ensure a picture-perfect wedding day perfect I always do a consultation.   I like to get an idea of your personalities, get the agenda for the day, and talk about any questions you may have so I can capture all the moments you want to remember.

On The Wedding Day

Take a break. Wedding days can be stressful, professionals keep that to a minimum by directing people for pictures and ensuring you don't have to worry about a thing.  I'll be there gathering the group, while capture tender moments between family, friends, and of course you, the happy couple!

- my goal as a wedding photographer -

When I show up to shoot a wedding I have one main objective. Tell the story of their wedding without any words. I want to be able to hand you a wedding album, and for a complete stranger to be able to look through that album and see exactly how your wedding day was. Instead of a collection of random pictures, I want to capture the big picture, and the small pictures to make it memorable. Detail shots like the cake, the flowers, the decorations, the venue, who was there, and things like that will complement the big picture of you two! Every couple has a story, and this is yours. Let’s tell it.

While I do specialize in posed photography, I love seeing thing build organically. Sometimes I will pose every joint in your body, and sometimes I’ll give you a scenario to watch how you two create a moment. While I love building a composition, I also love something raw and real. Every couple is unique, and I want to capture that!
